I'll plasti-dip it black and take some pictures this weekend.
I decided that the knockout seals looked cheap, and I wasn't confident that they'd stay on the wheel since I had to bend the tabs in a bit to clear the hubcentric ring.

Instead, I got some 56mm black center caps which I attached to the hubcentric rings themselves. I still have to do a test fit to make sure it left enough clearance for the hub. It looks good and will match my black lug nuts nicely if so.

I haven't had a chance to look at the wheel that closely. Haven't test fitted the wheel to the car yet either. Does it look like a one piece hubcentric ring/center cap can be made? If so I can machine a few up if you guys are interested.

Yeah, if you take the hubcentric ring and put a flat face right on top of it, I bet you could fabricate something that sits flush with the face of the wheel.

I bought the expensive Weds center caps, but I would be willing to pay for a solution that somehow integrated them into a hubcentric ring.

Same here, depending on cost of course - it doesn't look like it would be too hard to fabricate though, as the hubcentric rings that came with the wheel have sufficient space between its top and the wheel's face, so if something can plug that area up so that's it's flush, it would be a perfect spot to put any desired center cap decals that one would want. It would have to be ever so slightly smaller in diameter than the ring itself though, since there's a cutout in the wheel that the ring butts up against. If you take a look at the wheel, you'll see what I'm talking about. Nothing a lathe couldn't handle.

They would definitely be a lot less then the weds caps. I'd just be looking to cover my costs. I will have something drawn up either tonight or tomorrow to see what you guys think.

Same here. Haven't seen this setup in black on a car yet. I'm just waiting on tires so I can test fit them. That and its like 4 degrees outside.

Still sour the center caps don't fit with the hub-centric ring (as reported by others). Interested in solutions...

I was thinking something like this:

Will mount the wheel this weekend to double check the clearance between the hub nut and the face of the wheel.

The taper on the bottom may not be worth putting on there. It is there to hold the hub centric ring from sliding in and out (or fix it to the hub). With this being a wheel specific ring it wouldn't really be necessary as it would be held from the front lip. Any thoughts on this?

The taper on the ID would still be there since it provides clearance for the radius on the hub.

I don't think it can sit flush with the wheel. Rear hub extends beyond rim face I think.

If that's the case, his design could still work if he just makes it a tad taller to clear the rear hub. Maybe a few mil taller than the face. Could put a taper on the edge to make a nice transition even.

As for the OD taper on the base of the ring, wouldn't you want to keep it there since the back of the wheel pushes against it to help keep it in place?
