Com'on. I don't care how badass of a setup robispec's car is, there's NO WAY a FRS/BRZ (heavily modified or not) can stay with a properly driven ZR1. No way.

1:48 at MRLS is good, but not unreal. I run 1:45 with my stock boxster there. A ZR1 should be in the 1:30s

Those were ghetto rigged exhaust turn downs. There is a decibel meter on the right hand side of turn #5 exhaust turn downs were directed to the lh side to keep the noise down bout flew off after a few laps.

Yeah a properly driven CORVETTE will only give a bit back in the corners what they win on the straights....and thats where we would get it back...Might be the $'s restrictor/traction control too... I'm thinking "if I wad this FRS up I'm only out 25K" while he is thinking If I wad this zr1 up I'm out a 100k HOUSE...lol.

yeah no cats just their full racing exhaust engine to tip.

BUT THE SOUND IS SWEET! really quite calm at everything but full throttle. I could get by sound @ 3/4 throttle in 4th but NO way at full throttle in 3rd with the shift to 4th right at the sound meter lol

I think 1:48 is a VERY good time for an FRS, but let's not even suggest that it can hold a light next to a ZR1. A stock ZR1 is AT LEAST 10 seconds faster than 1:48 around MRLS, restrictor or not. That not giving a 'bit' back. That's murder through every corner and straightaway.

To suggest that a well sorted and drivenFRS can hang with a ZR1 is just not realistic. That guy was a horrible driver. Plain and simple. The internetz can be silly place, and I don't want people to think a robispec setup will put them in the same league as a ZR1, let alone a Z06. Let's put credit where credit is due here.
