1. Get rid of the useless analog speedometer and put in actual oil temp and oil pressure gauges in it's place. (will be integrating a dual oil pressure/temp gauge into steering column cover...)

2. Get rid of that torque dip...power should be linearly responsive no matter the load and rpm range.

3. The seats do not go low enough...need seats to go 2" lower (have plans to remedy this)

4. Oil cooler needs to be installed (will be doing my own oil cooling system.)

5. Needs more front camber adjustment (will be fixing that soon...)

6. Better brake system truly designed for heavy track use (have plans for that but $$$)

7. Get rid of the fake 'sound tube' intake system. (already done)

8. Put a better exhaust system that really belongs on the car (already done)

9. Put real functional fender garnish/vent pieces on the front fenders...(thinking of the TRD ones...but $$$ for what they are.)

10. Some kind of spoiler is needed on the rear...have yet to see one I really like and would not mind sticking on the car though - I want it to be like a part of the trunk, not a stuck on trim piece...

11. Engine RPMs could be more responsive to throttle input...thinking lightweight flywheel should have been standard (I very much plan on upgrading to one, but not a priority at this time)

if money was not an issue i would replace every single part of my brz with ferrari parts and make it a ferrari. of course i'd hire a team of ferrari specialists since money is not an issue. ;-)

So:
Reliable, simple boltons for 30-50hp, NA. No boost. Not in a hurry, Ill let the parts develop and copy someones formula.
Drop 100-150lb without compromising the comfort or interior of the car via:
-17x9 RPF1's w/225 RS3's
-10lb battery
-Loose the junk in the trunk
-FIA Bucket for drive

Aside from that, hook up my SoloDL and chase porsches . Rinse and repeat!
I think that I am looking to do this actually more short term... All but the seat probably. I am definitely getting a works drop in, and one of the silicon intake pipes, and considering one of the nameless exhausts with one of the e85 or flexfuel reflashes.

Having a hard time deciding whether to do so now, or just save and wait until I can drop a turbo kit into it.

400whp turbo kit, a nice oem style carbon fiber hood, built engine with lower compression maybe 10: something, and the Aero package from Germany with the more expensive hid head lights, oh and 17x9 gramlights 57, with kw coilovers.

9000hp!

Nah I kid. I would like a bit more power and less weight. 275whp and around 2200lbs.

I'd do this:

Oh wait.. I already did.

Well, maybe I'd add an Innovate Supercharger.

But since we're working with someone else's money.....

I'd build a second BRZ, do a full tear down and rebuild into a hill-climb monster complete with widebody and 500hp turbo build with anti-lag tune.

The Subaru premium sport concept is almost perfect to me, add a litchfield supercharger and I'd be happy with that.

Otherwise I'd start with a wrb brz, add the Ings kit, SSR wheels in gold with polished lip, racecomp Tarmac II coilovers and sways. This one would be more extreme so Crawford spec c turbo kit and short block. Ap racing/Stillen front and rear brake kits too.

Grimmspeed brake reinforcement
GT86 climate control, headlights, foglights, and spoiler
Nameless header back exhaust
Wheels (Work, Volk, or TSW) with tires that are better in the wet (maybe Bridgestone Potenzas)
And last, but, certainly not least, some sort of supercharger (probably Vortech or TRD)

I wouldnt be opposed to TRD. But I think a third party or independent performance shops supercharger will do a little more than the TRD one. I like the vortech stuff perrin is doing. I'm going to save until my warranty is out to do the s/c. Are the potenzas good in water?? I know Michelin makes some pretty good ones for driving in water.

Well then:
To design itself: make car hatchback. To MY car:
1. Replace every removeable body panel with carbon fiber
2. some sort of tall time attack spoiler
3. superlight racing wheels
4. Brembo big brake kit front and rear
5. coilovers that raise and lower from controller but handle like stock
6. some supercharger
7. UEL header and full custom exhaust from HKS
8. Headlights produced by Audi
9. full selectable underglow kit (why not?)
10. TRD leather seats
11. Full audio setup from JL audio, tuned by Bose engineers
Think that basically covers it.

I don't have my heart set on the TRD one. I am liking what I read in the Vortech/Perrin thread and may actually go that way. If money was no object, I wouldn't care about warranty. Every Michelin tire that I have ever owned have been horrible in the rain while every Bridgestone Potenza that I have owned have been great in the rain (both with respect to traction and anti-hydroplaning). It is somewhat of a generalization based on my own experience (although I haven't driven every type from both brands).

I would tear it down to the steering wheel and build an Audi R8 around it(:
