perfect parking bay
my colleague at work tore his Achilles tendon and won't be driving for weeks, which means i got the perfect parking bay till he's mobile again
edit: we have assigned parking bays so it just looks as if i'm being an asshole ... if i was i'd be driving an audi or bmw

That is awesome. Is it assigned parking there? I have heard of people doing bad things to people who take up two spots.

Yup, you can from your colleague but not from haters. I'd say, move a little to your own spot and don't attract attention. Your spot has so much space anyway. I've had my scooter pushed over and seat slashed for no reason. No reason! It's a damn scooter!

I don't see what the deal is. You have two pillars on both sides. I would think that someone could not park close to you to door ding your car... /skeptical

fyi: this is an attempt at joking about what an ideal parking bay would look like.. i know i don't have to park like this. Given how many people here have their cars dinged, i thought they'd appreciate my privileged situation

I street park instead of parking right in front of my office so that I can't get doordings.
