There's not really any ways to ever safely do it, until you're at an extreme level of car control.

I don't ever purposely slide on public roads or onramps... the risk of hitting something is too great, and I don't think my car control is at the level necessary to safely do so.

But at a track I can get the @$$ out (Thats what I meant before.) I would never do it on public roads
