TRD Vent/Garnish/Scuddle

Anyone here able to check or confirm whether there is a cavity -behind-(not internally.. REAR facing) the canard of the new TRD Vent? (so warm engine air can escape)
I've haven't been able to find a high res pic of one off the net. This is the closest of the rear I have seen though(YT Screencap). I noticed it doesn't have the TRD logo silk screened on it so I'm guessing the one in this video is probably a prototype?

Anyone who went to TAS 2013 this past weekend able to confirm?
This is from TAS2013, but no aft pic :/ Notice the TRD logo on it aswell.
And the canard edge is much more acute.

Unless they cut a hole there's no cavity there.

The canard is a cool idea... effect kinda dubious tho.

The garnishes are all clipped onto solid sheet metal; there's no hole for vented air to escape from any garnish. You'd need to cut into the sheet metal to make a port.

Interestingly enough, I believe the interior of the engine bay does allow for air to escape there at the garnish location however it's not been cut out.

from the looks of it, it is there for funneling air around the rear view mirrors.

Its not solid. No cutting needed.

i think what is being said is that there is no actual hole to the engine bay to allow hot air to escape through those vents. Yes theres a hole on the outside fender skin but for the inside panel there is none.

Also they did look like they pertrude a bit too much outside of the shape of the car so would love to see install pics
