Tunes can always be adjusted for exhaust

All of the ECUTek Tuners have stated that they do not change mappings for Exhaust. Only Intakes require tweaking to address AFR.

That being said, you'll get more power out of a tune than an exhaust on our cars. The gains from an exhaust are relatively low compared to other platforms. Same for intakes.

If you're looking for HP, then drop-in filter and tune would be my recommendation. E85 if you have that in your area for the most bang/buck.

If you're looking for sound, then intake/exhaust would be my recommendation.

If you're looking to perform on the twisty track, then tires first, suspension second.

I would imagine that if you adjust the tune for the exhaust, it will cost an additional amount of money.

I am mainly working off speculation here btw, what you see listed below is pretty much the most I have ever done to a car.

you dont need to adjust tune for exhaust and most tuners wouldnt charge extra for minor adjustments anyway.
Tune will not only give you extra power but will eliminate that "torque dip" or "flat spot", if you will, that you probably feel in the mid range. also ecutek has a bunch of other cool features like flat foot shifting, auto-blip downshifting, launch control...etc. so i think this would might make a bigger impact on your daily driving experience. either way gl

OP- Where do you live? A muffler delete might get you hassled in certain states (California, Virginia, etc.)

Muffler delete was the first "tune" I did and I love it. Having a good sounding car as a DD is more noticeable than minor speed or suspension mods overall IMO

Not to ruin your day but if you are in college you should really save your money for expenses. You already have a nice car, enjoy it. It seems like an eternity away right now, but before you know it you will be out of school and be able to afford many things.

Which is precisely why I suggest not doing anything beyond a catback. This guy can't really afford an engine popping; great reason to avoid a tune which will void a warranty claim on the engine.

You'll get more power out of a tune, however your statement about muffler delete not making anything but noise is wrong, they do add 6-8hp.
Dsport did a dyno comparison with the single muffler delete from Berk... it made 8whp

I JUST installed the berk yesterday. It is louder than what I expected, but its really only in the lower gears where its loud. If you're cruisin down the freeway you really cant hear it, and there is no drone. The drone only gets a tad bit loud in the lower gears as i mentioned before. But the install is quick and simple (i'm not a car guy, first time being under a car), and berk sent their product to me quickly. The piece itself looks sweet too
