I totally agree in the looks department (although I would like to have the spoiler). I too can afford both and would still choose the way that I did. Although, had the GT86 come to North America, that would have been the ideal choice IMO.

I'll admit that the FR-S styling (headlights in particular) already won me over when compared to the 86. I actually like the yellow side markers too. It's maybe because I have an Asphalt though. Hell, even the stock chrome lights look good with this color.

Depends what you use the car for i guess stock the FR-S looks cheaper(less classy) than the GT86 or BRZ but nothing some money invested can solve but in Europe we dont even have the FR-S so yeah :p here in Belgium there is only one kind of GT86 and it has the same options as the BRZ Limited

These cars aren't classy by any means. But keyless entry/push button start and HID lights are features that make good feeling for a driver. Embedded navigation system is must have in any car (why there are still cars without it is beyond my comprehension).

the FR-S looks a little more dated compared to the GT86/BRZ no HID no DRL evry new car has those, well in Europe they do, so kinda makes the FR-S look like the pre facelift car and the GT86/BRZ the facelift car

It does have DRL, where do you get that it doesn't?

And it may not have HID, but it does have projectors at least.

O rly? sure.. yea well its still the same car but that is the reason people would call it less "classy" or whatever you call it but thats the point of a scion to be more cheap, at least you guys still have the option to change the car into what you want.. here we arent alowed to do many things to our cars...

To me, pure performance guys should only buy the FRS. More raw....less features you dont need. This was the reason I got the FRS, knowing someday I will strip the AC and all power features.

i mean the leds like the BRZ has like the boomerang and in its bumper and the GT86 has in its headlights.. which just make it look like a newer car..

This is true for people who build their cars the FR-S is even more of a blank canvas for the ones who dont yeah well...
