These have a pretty decent amount of xmax for a shallow mount which is the measurement of travel before distortion. xmech is the measurement of the full movement of the suspension itself without regard to distortion.

The TW3 10" has 15.2mm one way of xmax which is very good, i usually won't buy a sub with less than 14mm or so but some can sound very good. Some of the real beastly subs have upwards of 30mm xmax.

Retail price of just the sub is $350 so this box will probably be almost double that msrp but nobody pays msrp for car audio.

Wow that's pretty tiny for a 10. Wonder if you could convince them to make a mirrored one for the left side?

It looks like they would straight fire into each other (if there was one on the left) and cancel out. They would need to be slightly kiddie corner (there's a member here who glassed a perfect example) for a dual set-up.

I second readytoxplod's question...I want to know the price...based on others, I'll assume $800 MSRP...

I'd pay 200 for the box, 350 with sub. But then I remember that it's JL and after having talked with their CEO a few times, I know that will never happen...

The lower the cost the better but I understand it is JL and you have to pay to play with those guys. That said I've had very fond experiences with JL subs over the years. Back in the day my 10w6 in a ported box was THE BOMB.
