Plan on keeping it stock for now, they only made 150 in my color so trying to keep it nice for the long haul. I'm definitely going to track it s few times this year.
Will probably use the FRS to relieve the "mod bug". |

I know a guy who does reviews for Roadfly TV and LOVED his Type R more than any other car he's owned to date. He said that the Boss was the closest thing he's driven to his ITR (he hadn't driven the twins yet) and he loved every minute in it.

I wasn't expecting him to like it as much as he did actually. I think your right about them being focused versions of their base model cars. Not that they are comparable on a sheet, but the feeling that they give to the drivers is likely the same. I've driven all but the latest CTR, but I can't say I've had the pleasure of driving a Boss yet. A lady at my work just got a Laguna Seca version, but almost purely as a show car, so I'm sure I'll never get to drive it.

Duh, my bad. That car is sweet and I bet it's a rocket on the track with those mods.

Dave, is your ITR modded or stock? You might know a friend of mine in the (ex) ITR community, Josh Wilson, aka itrsport.com? He had a black one that was insanely pristine black '00 (I think it was a 97), spoon calipers and comptech headers I think. Sold it after years of ownership and the new owner rear ended someone on the freeway like 3 weeks later.
