Closest thread I could find with my parts store trip..

My Subbie dealer didn't have any OEM filters in stock and couldn't get any by tomorrow. So I went to O'Reilly's and told them I had a BRZ and their computer shock no oil filters available for car.. Well they typed in the FRS and it came up with a list of 2 for it. Thought that was weird but I bought Mobil1 #M1-104 filter that was a match. Anyone see a problem with that?

That filter is good. You can tell them you have a 2000 integra (any model). Filters are the same as our cars.

The hamp filter is very good as is the oem toyoroki. I'd be surprised if our filter isn't the same as the very good old Honda ones.

Thanks. I went ahead and put it on. Like how easy it is to change the oil, no mess.

Mann Filter is the best thing I used in my VW's, but I wonder what the difference is between say, a VW inline-5 and our motors

I'll be sticking with OEM

When I got my FR-S the dealer had a complimentary first service but I like to work on my own car so I asked if I could just get the oil and filter from them for free instead for the first oil change. They gave me 6 bottles of Toyota 0W20 oil and an oil filter in a box labelled Toyota. Sure enough, when I opened the filter box the filter was the black Toyoroki with the Subaru label on it. So if you have trouble getting one at Subaru you can try a Toyota dealership as well. Seeing as how there are more FR-S's around they might be more likely to have filters in stock for it.

These are awesome and work on our cars. Highly recommended. Surpasses OEM quality and that of many aftermarket.
I think this link and $140 has got you beat:

http://www.kandpengineering.com/S1.shtml

That unit (S1) is supposed to be correct for our car. Search takes a few minutes but it gives you the idea.
Magnetic pickup inside for a quick particle check AND has high pressure bypass built in.

But $140 can buy a LOT of OEM filters.
The cool thing about these and our easy access is that you could pull the filter and put it back on in about 5 minutes at zero cost.

You could "change" your filter 5 times between oil changes no problem.
