The problem with magnets is that this is a storage compartment, particularly good for your phone, iPods etc .. Strong magnets will wipe these devices very easily as quickly.

I use a magnet to mount my iPhone with no problems www.steelie.com I agree it may wipe other devices and credit cards which I don't plan on having near.

Magnets will wipe HD's, not flash or solid state memory which all cell phones are using. I wouldn't be concerned. Seems like this guy isn't moving forward so I'll just program some parts and put them on the CNC router...

Wow! That looks great! It looks almost exactly like the OEM prototype!...
250 € seems a little pricy as its converted to $324 CAD... But you get what you pay for!

Is your friend thinking of mass-producing these??

Cheers!

~$330 USD seems like a fair price for that. If an OEM option ever comes, do you think it would cost less?

I just bought one of these as a temporary solution:

Definitely not expecting OEM to cost any less; that being said, OEM is OEM...

That is why I said "You get what you pay for" and this item is definitely worth it since OEM version is not available.

I don't like the bottom piece on that one. It seems too tall and doesn't follow the lines of the lid all that well. And the black stitching makes it stick out even more on top of all that. I think is has promise.... but isn't there yet for me to spend my $$. Just my opinion.
