No. It grey's it all out. I'd end up entering a little data at each stop sign until it was done....

Bummer, this is my biggest and only negative about the car until now. Like with my other cars, I don't use the nav much but when we need it, we really need it and it's usually because we're running late!

For what it's worth, the no-input-when-moving is not uncommon. GM does it in all their cars.

Yeap. Colleague of mine has it on his previous generation Prius. Frustrating.

Update.

Wife driving, I was able to turn the Nav on, was able to select loaded favorites, map view, restaurants and business etc... I was not able to select a new destination, the key pad was subdued while moving, as soon as we stopped and up until 10mph or so, I was able to use keypad, then it subdued again. Really not interested in modding it, although with a small relay to disable the speed input, I could do it on the fly, but it is not safe to do while driving as we know, I'll leave well enough alone!
