yeah the deals on parts, and the rare troubleshooting, I'm looking for something new and fun. I have 400+hp and she is fun but she rarly gets driven< I want something I can throw around beat, and mod for fun and not worry about getting a door ding in the parking lot...LOL
I think a 2009 STI motor would make this thing scream!!! But I'm willing to spend $ on making it 400..LOL |

I just found out something interesting. It turns out that the FB uses the same bellhousing pattern as the EJ and EZ. It's not really very surprising, I suppose, considering how much Subaru loves to raid the parts bin.

I just want a strong transmission that can handle power and not break. and a good stock motor that can be modded and tuned and not break.

Not sure this new tranny, but boxer engine is really picky, so if you gonna boost it I would recommend do internal first. Cuz boxer engine (specially EJ) had problem w crank bearing wearing out fast when put bigger turbo.

Gonna try to not sound like a retard on this one :P but can anyone think of a good v8 or v6 engine that could most likely fit in the FRS, without defeating the entire idea of the car?
