I believe it's the DEKA ETX16 battery. Specs:
325 CCA 17 lbs Size: 6 7/8(L) X 4(W) X 6 1/8(H) Not great for runing an audio system by itself, but should be sufficient for starting the car. |

On a different note, does anybody know the amp rating of the stock alternator?

Hey Bill...this car has an amp to go along with that stereo. It's not like your speedwagon. You may need a slightly bigger battery.

![]() The plan is... to swap it out with the factory one..only when I race... so the stereo is a low priority.. ..then swap it back for Daily/normal driving..![]() Bill |

So I believe at least a 9kg(20lbs) weight saving is to be had. Almost the equivalent of taking out your spare tyre out of the boot. |

Update: Just installed the braille 20mins ago. Car starts fine. Haven't left it on a 'tender' yet. See how it fares in the morning.
![]() Yes I know the install looks weird. I will have to get some type of lightweight enclosure made up to house it. Battery is tied down although it doesn't appear so. I can push the car(in neutral) while holding onto the battery. Pushing it *backwards* towards the empty space.. more pics on my build thread in my signature. |

Stevo12v, imam thinking the same battery. Do you have any issue after replace? How about the driving feel after losing 20 lbs?

No issues what so ever. Really good battery. It's been running excellent since I posted up above(30th August) Starts first time all the time. I don't even have it connected up to a tender.
You'll notice a slight bit of pickup. Similar as if you've removed your spare tyre. Highly recommend it. Get a DEKA if you can't afford the braille. They are the same battery. |

Wheels + Exhaust

.. but Enkei RPF1's.. they are great, cheap and light. And go for the HKS Spec-L exhaust, lightest exhaust so far - unless you want to go Ti. I changed mine over on the weekend.. the weight of the stock muffler itself is heavier than the whole HKS CBE. |
