The vocal majority recommended the MT-90, Motul wasn't even considered back when I swapped the fluids. It fixed my hard shift problems and is still butter smooth. With the extra buck I probably bought a fruity air freshener!

Durian is a bit like stinky tofu, there's nothing wrong with it, aside from the fact that it smells like shit. lol. It's pretty smelly, but more tolerable than stinky tofu if you've smelled that before. The non-stinky component of the smell actually has a nice aroma.

I can't believe some people would decide an something to keep their car alive, an oil, something they'll never see again, based on it's smell.

That's almost as bad as buying an oil because it's purple.

Here, why don't you punch of pansy's put this in your car:

As long as it doesn't smell like gear oil, it's OK in my book.

I'll join you, because remarkably I never smell anything when changing it. I have immunity or something over it. That or perhaps I've been sniffing to much fuel

I use the O'Reillys full synthetic, from what I hear it's made by Castrol. It's super cheap and have been using it for years.

lol

I was about to go off on you all about how all your cheap "synthetic oil" is nothing more than more refined dino oil, but then noticed none of you are in America so you're probably using real synthetic oil and not that ridiculous Group III crap that American companies can get away with marketing as "synthetic"

Nothing wrong with group III oils, other than calling them 'synthetic' lol!
Interestingly, Germany doesn't allow it!
