I paid 1.5k for a 6 year 75k mile extended warranty and also 500 for 5 year tire and wheel damage.

I was offered tire and wheel damage on my 335 1k+ when I bought it and said no way I don't curb tires.

About a year later, I hit a long pothole about 2 inches deep going 40mph. Bent two rims and had to replace two tires. $1200.

Also have had 3 tires with nails. $250 each tire. The tires on this car are alot less, but so is the warranty.
Could the tires not be plugged?

I'm stingy...

Right as I entered the Finance Office, I told the gentleman right away that I would not be opting for any extra goodies. I reviewed the documents thoroughly to make sure of no hidden / extra fees, and used the calculator on my phone to break down the charges before I would provide my signature... Suprisingly, the Finance gentleman was understanding and respectful of my standards, and it was a fairly easy process without getting into spending more than I had to.

smart move at that price?
maybe! only time will tell! i dislike any form of insurance,as
i always get a feeling that i am taking a "money dump" for nothing!
i consider any type of insurance to be a "necessary evil!"

To my understanding i am fully overed for the next seven years on all my maintenance, protecting my wheels/tires, interior exterior etc. yeah i have only had the car since june and already had two dings in the door that would have come out to around 400. yes there are shops cheaper and better all that jazz, but i dont have many options.i live in a populated town of 18,000 who no one cares for cars or respects them.i had to drive six hours just to get my car in arizona. the roads here are shit, i practically live in a dustball. if i wash my car monday by thursday i will have to re wash it. i never thought i would have this quality of a car and when the option came up to protect it as long as i have it, i jumped on it. i maybe put a thousand miles a month on the car. i fill up maybe once every two weeks. but thanks for the info.

Yea I ended up canceling my 100k warranty after about 2 weeks. No point if I'm going to autocross and HPDE. I'm going to wait a year and refinance it next year.

This is what we pay comprehension insurance for....CHRIST !,...its pure profit for the dealership and a commission for the finance guy who sells it to you. It's a shady business practice that dealers legally can get away with. Most of it is already covered in warranty and or your car insurance,....so the protection you pay for is very,..very small.....Save the money and use it towards insurance deductables...Finance guys are proffesionals at getting you to buy this crap,...they will almost make you feel guilty for NOT buying it ! ..... Get your money back, they all can be cancelled, with a refund, at any time. Call your insurance agent and see what your coverage is,....I bet most of this is covered along with roadside assistance and towing(even if it isn't it's still a ripoff). Not trying to be harsh,...I have and many others have made the same mistake,...just trying to share personal experiance to help others out....Seriously look at your policy,...very few people do.

I have just had installed a completely see-through bodykit to my car. It improves roadholding, acceleration and top speed without spoiling the good looks of the car. I baulked a bit at the price (£11,000) but, as the salesman said, it is of such high that you would not even know it is there.

Figure one week at my job and it'd pay for itself. People really don't know how to park.

Offered to me when I was doing financing. I turned down all the other offers but I had heard that subarus dent program was pretty good and well worth the price.

I paid $200 for 100% coverage on dent repair and tires/wheel damage. I don't care for the latter since I swapped out my tires/wheels already but I do hate dents with a passion. I've had dents removed on every car I've owned paying up to $150 for one gnarly dent (including spot repaint). One multiple dent repair session a couple years ago cost me $200. And I always try to park way in the back away from other cars in a parking spot at the very end of a row with generous spacing between my car and the next parking spot. But sometimes, dents can't be avoided.
