I'd prefer a net in the back for items to place on/in. Like the Evora 2+0 set up.

I thought about dumping the back seat so I'll keep an eye on this.

Why must it be made of Carbon Fiber?,....would like to see someone make the same Seibon seat delete out of fiberglass,.....would be tons cheaper and I would buy.

Some people want to still put stuff in the back and keep it from flying forward under braking, but a mesh net of sorts would alleviate that concern.

just take the freaking seats out and you save the weight for free.
This is why I support knock-offs in things like this.

It's just for show cars. Products like these don't really have a market with people actually going to the track seriously.

True. I didn't mean to be such a troll. That was very mean on my part. I accept my failure and hope to never do it again sir.

We need something that looks OEM-like. Carpet, alcantra, etc.

I'd like for it to look like some sort of continuation of the trunk all the way up to a nice transition into the front seats. Maybe a beam stuck somewhere in there too like the 370Z.

I'm sure someone will make a seat delete kit,..... like some have for the Mustang Boss community for non LS owners....... at least I hope. The 2k carbon is over the top,....money like that could go somewhere else for serious gains.

Lemme know if this would work. If you pulled the seat out you are left with the mounting points where the seat locks into place. Could you use that point to simply mount a reinforcement bar? Would that decrease flex? Increase rigidity? The rest could simply be filled with some creative woodwork or fiber glassing and upholstered. That way you still have the ability to use the pass through. Maybe a cargo net or flap to separate the boot and the rear of the cabin.

Just an idea.

Why not just carpet some chloroplast? It will be pretty damn light, and if done well the car will just look like a stock 2 seater for those only covering it to keep police from having prejudices against you after seeing you have a modified car. I am hoping to do HPDEs in my car but it is my DD, so I plan on doing anything cheap to reduce weight while keeping a sleeper look to my interior. Sadly my wife values looks over function, so I cannot just strip my whole interior without pissing her off either.

These guys have one in development, we'll priced and solid quality. Although I agree that leaving a hole there is probably the simplest way to go.
