Techstream (reflash version) of course... there's nothing wrong with buying from across the pond. :happy0180:

Just wanted to give members more options... since most of the eBay users selling techstream in North America are from China and shipping may take longer.

And many are selling Techstream Lite (non-reflashable version) which is fine for some.

Order this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Latest-V7-11...E:L:OC:US:3160

Download link (it's not mine): https://skydrive.live.com/?cid=75C93...49501E9A%21126 (proven that it works from various users on a Tundra forum: http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forum.../t-227368.html)

And BTW - I'm going to try this tonight over my ELM327 Bluetooth Dongle.

I got one of the eBay cables that came with TechStream and I can confirm that it works. I played around with a few of the settings but I really got it so I can swap out TPMS ID's between Winter and Summer wheels. Since I don't have my new wheels/sensors yet, I can't confirm that it works, but since everything else does, I don't see why it won't.

Has anyone used it successfully to swap out their TPMS?

Why would you guyz pay for Techstream off ebay? It's the same damn stolen software you can get on torrentz for free. Just get a $20 OBD interface, compliant with "pass-through J2-whatever".

Right, that's what I did (minus the Torrents).

I essentially bought a cable off of ebay for $20 bucks. The chinese dude threw in a burned CD with Techstream on it. Newer version, as you said, was available via torrent.

If you're buying a cable + Techstream on ebay for more than $20 bucks or so, you're doing it wrong.

Not sure if Techstream recognizes Bluetooth OBD interfaces. It may require a special driver. I know the Mini VCI cable I have required its own drivers (J2534 - Mongoose Pro) before Techstream would recognize it as an acceptable VIM interface. I have an ELM Bluetooth module as well, and I can't find a way to get it to work with Techstream. Let me know if you find the appropriate drivers.

Has anyone used it successfully to swap out their TPMS?
I tried to program my new TPMS IDs, but was unsuccessful. I'm able to scan my TPMS receiver, view the current TPMS IDs, tire pressure, etc... However, when I try to program my new IDs, I get the following error:

"Terminate initialization by connecting TC and CG of the DLC3 for 30 seconds. Then try the registration procedure again."

I found a TSB for other Toyota vehicles, which say to use a jumper wire from pin 13 (TC) to pin 4 (CG) on the DLC3. Has anyone been successful reprogramming the TPMS IDs? Did you have to go through this?
