I plan on running a square 17x9 all the way around for autocross, only reason I went with this is because I wanted a staggered setup and really liked these wheels. I work for a scion dealer and we do shows occasionally, so in a sense I guess these are more glamour wheels, I just cant stand the stretched look on these tires.

ah thats fair enough! but yeah what i recommend should fix the problems you face. Continental DW are pretty nice and fairly lightweight as well. i like them so far.

I am in the same situation. I am ordering 18x8.5 front/ 9.5 rear. I was thinking about 225/40 R18 front and 245/40 R18 rear. What do you guys think about those sizes?

Not really concerned with stretch. You think 255/35 in the rear would be better?

I've got a 255 now, the wheel lip slightly pokes out from the tire. I hate it.

What do you hate. Do you want more stretch or are you wanting a 265 or bigger with less stretch?

Quick Question...Will they fit?

Im assuming so. They are off a 2007 WRX STI which I believe has a 5 x 100 bolt pattern.

225/45R17 91T

Just making sure they will fit. Also, good deal?

Thanks for the help!

EDIT:

Forgot to add the link dur.

they only year STI with 5x100 bolt pattern is 2004, in 2005 they changed to 5x114.3 and have been that way since.
ALL WRXs use 5x100 however. So either look for WRX wheels or 04 (only) STI wheels
