offers from 260 € for a used set to open end!
I don´t think the ft-86 is reaching my expections so I´m going to invest into my MR2 as I already mentioned before. |

the eibach pro-kit should be comfortable as far as springs go, while still offering improved performance over stock. the dampers can make a HUGE difference, so i would recommend spending as much as you can there. KYB AGX are pretty stiff. tokico illuminas are good, but apparently Koni yellows are some of the best for the money, and very comfortable.

I'd like to add my two cents:
I used to have the Tein-S springs with Tokico Illuminas on my '91 Turbo and while I LOVED the razor sharp turn-in and responsive steering, I ended up blowing the rear shocks just 5,000 miles into the whole venture This probably happened for two reasons: 1) I travel down a pothole ridden So-Cal freeway everyday so I was really running a risk by daily driving my beloved 'Two 2) I did not modify the bump stops at all and I ran the highest shock setting. In hindsight this was a retarded idea but what can I say- the handling benefits were addicting ![]() Since this whole suspension fiasco, I now run the stock OEM shock and spring set-up. Indeed I compromised killer handling characteristics for ride comfort and durability, but it's realistically the most ideal set-up for my driving habits. Plus, I paid about $100 per shock for the OEM units so the price is right ![]() If I were to do it all over again I would probably still stick with the Tein-S springs with the Tokico Illuminas but I would be smart enough to turn down the stiffness a bit and perhaps modify the bump stops. That's my .02 cents. Okay, it was more like .25 cents
