Hah! Yea, not a chance, pure sucker bet there.

Used to live in S. FL and flew all over the place in private planes. There isn't a single stretch of non-subdivision road (never mind highway) that you couldn't land a Cessna on if you really needed to in an emergency as long as traffic, power lines and alligators allowed it.

My poor MK1 MR2 hated it! She insisted I take her at least twice a year to my grandparents in KY just so we could drive the back roads.

(If anyone doubts what we're saying, go to Google Maps and zoom right on down to street level. It's all N-S or E-W)

This plus more money is the reason I left Florida in 2010 to move back I Oregon . I couldn't stand the war with cops and street racers anymore either. I was pulled over Dailey for being a white guy an a modded civic lol. But nothin beats a good mountain pass an I run the historic highway from women's forum to crown point all te way down to the free way that leads to the dalls.

If u don't know that pass, ur missing out

No mt akina but what is?

Seriously I miss my home town!! Tons of twisty mountain roads.

I live right next door to this road, arguably one of the best driving roads in the world bu several car mags.

Then there's this road that starts getting good about 15 minutes from my house, and stays good well beyond the first tank of gas...

Then there's this:

A few hours of awesome roads later there's this:

And i could go on... But no, moving never really crossed my mind....

Um.... No... No I haven't

But I do feel for you in Florida! I hate driving there. It's a place for fast cars, not fun roads

No idea on that one, but I think your nearest best bet (according to google maps) is to hit up the area around Sundown, NY. it's 2 hrs and 15 minutes from Manhattan and appears to have some terrain and fun-ness to it:

Enjoy
