After waiting 6 months...

So, I told myself I wasn't going to add to the massive amount of "I got it!" Threads that pop up here every now and then, but I've decided I needed a distraction from my impatience. This has been a forever long wait and I'm pretty sure I've annoyed everyone I know bugging them about my car and how much I liked it and wanted it.

Timeline:
4/28 - Ordered.
5/21 - Order placed to factory.
9/07 - Placed in production.
10/25 - Found it on the lot, can't have it until they call me.

And for some reason the pictures didn't want to resize all the same size, don't know why. But anyways, it sucks knowing it's there, but I can't have it yet.

That is how you pull a trigger "BANG" at the dealer
Like me I can't stand the waiting game when I want it - Not this car !

Well, unless he gets the dreaded CEL...then the waiting begins again.

I shouldn't. It spent a month at the processing center for a "quality issue" that I'm guessing had something to do with that.

Hopefully your production is after all the problems and the factory has made the necessary parts substitutions and upgrades.

It took them long enough to put it in production, I can't imagine if they've been fixing the problems as they go it wasn't part of the fixed batch haha.

Geez - hope my wait isn't that long! Was told by the dealer to expect it around December. Deposit put down mid this month.

Jeez that wait sucks, I don't mean this as rubbing it in but I put a deposit down on a Whiteout and got it 3 weeks later...truth be told I wasn't even sure I wanted it til I saw it.

The wait was because of the type of order. My dad works for Toyota and the order program is one of his benefits. It's built to order, which sucks. It would've been cool if they could've just grabbed one out of inventory, but I know why it doesn't work that way. Just had to accept the wait, which is fine, because it makes the FR-S affordable enough for me. I wouldn't have gotten a car like this at all without it. I'll take a wait for that.
