Fawken stupid comparison. These cars shouldn't even be cross-shopped. The BRZ is a pure driver's car, the MS3 a wrong-wheel drive, turbocharged, 5-door grocercy-getter, and the last one is a boat. Sounds like you haven't a clue about what you want.

Step 1 is knowing what you want. I'm going to assume that you're the streetracing homebros type. If that's the case, get the MS3, go race some Civics, and get your ballz stroked. Last thing we want is for you to start another thread asking why a Civic is faster than your BRZ sports car.

If you don't wanna risk then don't force yourself. The first thing pop in my mind when I sat in the 86 is CHEAP too, because they focus on the handling with a $25k set in mind. I own an FR-S so I'm not gonna tell you get what I got. Test drive all of them then decide which one is right for you. Aftermarket Navigation is better than factory one. If you don't wanna spend too much you can get a GPS like $100 that work pretty well. I just use Tomtom (free) on my iphone whenever I'm out of town. The 86 has better handling and fuel economy but impractical and slower.

Stay under your bridge if you're not going to post something productive. Agree or not with the comparison, this kind of crap has no place here.

They're all sporty cars, man. No need to get all insulting.

My guess is you spend too much time on the Honda forums with the aforementioned streetracing homebros.

No he is right... you have to know (or learn) what you want in a vehicle, then your choice will be easy.

Actually, when I used to frequent the forums everyday, I would be on MR2OC. For someone who owns an MR2 (and a MKI at that!), I'm surprised by your reply. Would you consider a Camry SE in the same comparison? It is, after all, sports-inspired just like the MS3 and Genesis Coupe.

FYI, the only cars that I've purchased for sporting purposes have been the MR2 Turbo and the S2000. I hope to try the FRS before graduating to something a bit more serious like an NSX, Cayman, or Exige. Notice, my shortlist doesn't include any "sporty cars" or fluff-mobile because I actually know what I want.

This comparison makes as much sense as comparing an FRS/BRZ to Camry SE.

Again, I stress that if you do not like the MS3's performance 100% stock you do not want to buy that car. Fair warning to you all...I lost thousands of dollars on that car trying to make it faster.

You'd be surprised how many people prefer to be at the receiving end of those "I told you so" moments

Well, you and I aren't the average car buyer. I would never consider a FWD or "sporty" car either. However, to compare a MS3 to a Camry SE isn't fair. Plenty of people use MS3's in competition. Camrys, not so much. My mom has a Camry SE; They're not anywhere in the same realm. The Genesis coupe is a RWD sport coupe, and it gets used in competition, too. It is a boat and I'd never consider one either, but they're cross-shopped because they're all marketed as entry-level sports/sporty cars and they all cost around $25k.

Back to the topic at hand: get the BRZ/FR-S.

Saying a Camry SE is like a Gencoupe is the most retarded shit posted in this thread. And a Mazda FWD car is typically more sportier than a Toyota FWD.
