I ordered mine a few weeks back. I paid $500, which they told me could be applied to the first payment, or totally refunded if I wanted. Told them I wanted to get through winter with my current car, so I was looking at April delivery. They told me no problem, and said they'd order it in time for it to be delivered when I was ready. Simple and painless.

You might as well go with a 2014 model....Heck you might be getting a 2014 model....

If you are super picky and not in midlife crisis (you got lots of time and patience to wait) then I suggest you order exactly what you want.

If you shop around, you can get BRZ for $2000 off MSRP....FR-S not so much because of the pure pricing.....but MSRP is easy to do if you shop around. HINT---look at Colorado and northwards for Subaru dealers willing to deal...

Come wintertime, the BRZ will get much cheaper.....Winter will be the time to buy these cars....
