OK I tried the speak nicely to the dealer method. That produced nothing. Might test out a different card with igo Primo.

Got a response from my salesman today, this is his response:

"Basically all the new Sat Nav units with the SD Card input are the same, the quickest fix is to get one out of one of the current Toyota’s for sale and swap it with yours as this will update the unit. Then just put your SD card back in and it should be all sweet. Problem may be getting hold of one of these if Pacific Toyota is unwilling to co-operate."

I'm thinking BS on this and have called him on it, I await his response.

Don't suppose you want to lend me yours @crimespree and I can see if it is as he says.

If your on Brisbane yep. I reckon it would update the iGo software but not the maps

Yeah he has to back that up by letting you borrow one for 5 minutes! First boot takes ages. I thought it was buggered but left it and it eventually came up after a few screen flickerings..
