I use chemical guys leather and vynil cleaner then coat it with some chem guys uv protectant. Armor all is very bad since it contains oils and with the sun they could harm your dash.

You want "303 Aerospace Protectant" it comes in several different forms, including wipes, large and small spray bottles and 1 gallon jugs. The are all the same stuff, just depends on how you want to apply it. I have wipes for my interior and they are super easy. Then I have a spray bottle I use to apply it to my trucks vinyl tonnaeu cover because it would take 30 wipes to get the entire cover so spraying is easier.

Meguiars quick interior wipes. They clean and also have a light protectant. I use them frequently and my dash is always clean.
Using a good protection coating like Meguiars / Mothers / AG is a good idea as well however if you properly maintain a NEW interior you don't really need to use the stuff at all. It's good for preventing fading from the sun though.

The therapy and normal water is probably fine, I would not use Amonia on anything I desired to keep as unique. One thing that is very excellent and probably won't harm the plastic material materials is to by SCRUBS OR something identical. This is simply a fabric like content that uses organic lemon acid ,,,,, clears excellent no unpleasant remains and fresh fragrance. Would never use shield all It will actually harm plastic material and specially soft over time.

My dash never get's dirty really. I wipe with a moist microfiber and I treat most surfaces with Lexol Vinylex every few months.
Engine compartment get's the same love... |

I love using 50W motor oil on my interior. Gives it that awsome shiny look that every interior MUST have. Oh....and it also adds tons of UV and heat protection.
The only down side is that you can't spray it though a conventional sprayer so I just slather it on like sun tan lotion. Really cheap too. All the pro detailers need this stuff. j/k

Does the 303 hide shoe scuffs on the door? I've never used it.

Yes it does. A friend/member picked some up for me after he saw it here and I'm totally in love with the stuff. The first time I used the wipes I kept thinking about how I had never seen my dash that clean...including when I first saw my car with only 9 miles on it.
