Self-cleaning cars on the way!

If you are planning to open a detailing shop, you might want to give this a look:

http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases...0719103531.htm

The funny thing is that as soon as self-cleaning cars become common, a clean car will no longer look that good. Kind of like CGI, the first spectacular effects were amazing, now they are routine and boring.

I'm familiar with Neverwet. When people kept going on and on about Opti-Coat I kept thinking of Neverwet.

Well I guess we don't have to worry about crappy subaru paint any longer!

Edit: assuming that the scratches are very light

A limitation of the new technology is that it only works with superficial scratches that do not completely penetrate the coating.

Good job, sometime when we go on the muddle way often we face such problem that our car gets dirty. Anyway if abruptly we impose to these techniques we can get clean to our car.

Doesn't Infiniti use some form of self healing paint?
