how are you cleaning the dash?

The top of the dashboard of my previous cars has generally been some kind of vinyl that I would typically spray with something like ArmorAll and wipe down. That cleans it and gives it a little gloss.

These cars have a kind of rubbery leather-looking stuff (not leather but it has an imprinted grain) that I haven't encountered before. Probably its vinyl, but it isn't glossy and I'm thinking the usual ArmorAll treatment won't be appropriate. What are you using? Just a damp cloth?

I don't use ArmorAll or any treatment on my dash. Personally, I hate glossy dash boards. I just wipe it down with a damp towel as I'm cleaning/dusting the interior.

I have been using Autoglym and it works great. AG is my favourite.

303 Protectant does a good job for all the interior bits for me so far.

Check out Zaino's leather in a bottle. It smells good and doesn't leave a nasty greasy film.

Don't worry it works good on plastic and vinyl.

Pro Honda Cleaner and polish, sold at most Honda motorcycle dealers, also does a nice job on interior and exterior plastic, and provides some UV protection. Smells good too.

1Z einszett Cockpit Premium

It doesn't leave the dash glossy or shiny. It has the perfect sheen for this type of material.

303 Aerospace, it can be bought at any West Marine store. I wouldn't use anything else, and while it is shiny and slippery at first, after 1 or 2 days it tones down and becomes normal again but the protection is still there.

I made a call to a West Marine store and they said they have a bunch of different 303 Aerospace products. Is there one in particular that people like for cleaning the dash? The guy at the store liked the wipes rather than the sprays.
