Wasn't me that you saw this weekend, I didn't get that far west. I'm usually in the Oyster Bay/Huntington/Smithtown areas. There's another forum member, Rapidcars, with a DGM BRZ from around here, that might've been him. |

Grabbed a set of Michelin Primacy Alpins on 16" Sparco Assetto Garas that Tirerack had on clearance. Ended up being a few bucks more than a steely setup.
I went with the sport snow as PA usually gets a pretty mild winter and I end up getting frustrated with studless ice and snows.

Going to keep it stock this year. I don't drive far so I don't think anything will happen. Famous last words.

Ordered my 16in steelies, Blizzaks tires, and TPMS from Tire Rack last night. Came to like $1100 shipped. And then a very small rock decides to come in contact with my windshield this morning and leave a very small chip in the windshield about the size of a pen dot on a piece of paper, maybe a tad bigger. I can't tell where it is if I sit inside the car, but it's noticeable from the outside. Should I be concerned?
FML.

You should get it checked out and potentially drilled to prevent it from spreading. Depending on your insurance they might replace it for free.

![]() That said, replacing it was dirt cheap. $105 installed. I paid more for the clear markers on my BRZ. |

Well it's less then 1mm in size and it's more like a pit then a crack/chip. I'll see if I can get it filled up.

Just ordered a set of Michelin Pilot Alpin PA3s from TireRack, should be here late next week. I'll let you all know what I think once I get them mounted. I went 215/45/17 for my OEM wheels. Looking forward to some fun RWD snow drifting.

Just an FYI if you want to reuse the stock rims, 215/55/17 tires do fit on stock suspension. 55 is probably the most it will go before there are major issues. See below:
