That's fine that some of you don't mind the push button with key in ignition. But I want my key to be able to sit in my pocket or cup holder, etc, while I drive the car. Don't want a stupid plastic credit card looking thing either!

If it checks out, I'm getting it. I just don't want to be the guinea pig lol. So now, I wait for somebody to install it...

I emailed the seller and he gave me instructions and it requires you to leave a key in the ignition and keep it turned to acc mode to avoid steering wheel lock

you also need to leave your transponder chip near the ignition so I dunno about that one

however if the leads on the lock cylinder are disconnected then I guess a key in there won't do anything, you'll have to have the provided transponder in order for the car to start I'm assuming

Yes but if someone can look in a see a key in the ignition it will probably increase the chance of a break in, regardless of if the key works or not.

they suggest just cutting the keys head off then covering the lock cylinder.

why not put the key in there, cut the head off, disconnect the ignition, tuck it away into the steering column/dash, and put the "start/stop" button where the ignition was.

It would be stuck in the ON position permanently and all your shit would still be running lol
