The other day i was driving around and i hit my left rim while turning the wheel to the right. I was going about 25-30. I just got back from the dealer and they said me left control arm is bent and i would need a new one. They want to charge me ~$300 for the arm and ~$408 and ~$100 for an alignment. Its sitting in my drive way now. The only thing im worried about now is that theres more damage and my power steering is being strage. Ill post pics tonight. Any ideas? thoughts?
My deductible is $1000

I guess it would also be a bad time to mention the talk i had with my dad about the GT-R when i turn 21. Anyways the car is getting fixed at a shop. The damage wasn't even that bad. Waiting for the control arm to come in then a simple alignment. Im not a dumb 17 year old that takes things for granted. I would hard for the things i want. Like I've said plent of times, I pay for my car. $475 a month and premium gas witch is $5 a gallon. So quick to judge...
Word of advice, and I mean this from the bottom of my heart. Think things through before speaking with the adjuster or anyone in general who is a deciding factor on the outcome you want. The adjuster most likely won't understand how this happened when you're going 25-30 miles per hour "pulling in" (to where we won't ever know for certain, a stall, or into the actual lot either way that speed is dangerous in a parking lot) and you've pulled to the right hitting something on the left at the lower part of your car and looks to be a curb rash on your wheel. What you've hit is still not clear at all. When you have pieces of information that don't add up, your adjuster is going to call bullshit and if he thinks you're lying, you've set the stage for some butthurt penalties.

A picture of the situation (that is, from a distance seeing how the car is oriented and whatever else at the scene that may have cause such a loss) is much more helpful than close up pictures of the damage. Why? because the damage will still be there in the morning and adjusters are "physics experts" and can tell whether damage to the vehicle was caused by an accident or not. It only takes a bit of deductive reasoning and your pictures most likely won't help your cause.

Lastly, don't be a know-it-all 17 year old. Highschool doesn't teach half of the life lessons that have yet to come. Just don't let something horrible to happen to humble yourself.

A select number of them yeah. It made it easy for me to worry less about the shipping, installation, and paying for it. It went into my financing and worked out great.
