People are STILL going to race the car. Stop trying to blame people's stupid antics on a car company. Scion didn't do shit.
He's trying to be funny and sway the "dumb drivers on the forum who dont know how to drive" that the FRS is not a race car...

My insurance just refunded me $35 last month for my 6 month term. Guess I'll be giving that back next term, and some.

How many BRZ's have you seen on this forum or anywhere that have been in a wreck due to a similar situation like this?

None.

A badge didn't CAUSE this accident, but the accident is going to give the Scion name and badge yet another bad credibility point. Another -1 for Scion.

How many other Scions have you seen on this forum crashed due to street racing?

Off the top of my head, let's see...I can't find any. Oh, and just for the record. If I had a BRZ instead, yeah I still would've raced it before when my friend crashed.

The badge doesn't mean shit. Regardless of the car, it's the people who drive them.

Let me save you the trouble, and don't. Because frankly I could give two shits. Maybe the fact that more Scions are crashed because a) they are $3,000 cheaper. and b) they are manufactured at a 3:1 ratio?

I still can't believe you think the badge means that much.

Call me a ****. But no. People need to learn from other's stupid mistakes. He put himself into that situation, and he's lucky ONLY himself got hurt. Praying isn't going to do anything for him.

I'm leaving this thread.

Well that just sucks, I got sympathy for the passengers, as the driver, you got to be responsible and ready to face your actions. And please let's stop blaming RWD, this car doesn't have enough torque to make it much different, specially with all the electronics, and an idiot in a RWD will be an idiot in a FWD anyway. Look at that poor car, the driver was driving way too fast.

Yep, stupid can be accomplished in any drive type.

The driver made a mistake, if he doesn't make it then that's a shame. But he made a choice. He's lucky that his actions only resulted in himself getting seriously hurt. If any of his passengers were to die and he survives, then he could be looking at prison time. But he's not. Instead he's fighting for his life. I don't feel bad for him at all. I just don't.

Keep the racing to the track, and obey all legal laws on the road. That's all I have to say.
