Of course, I'm joking. But the RX8 is pretty slow. Hell, I thought the S2000 was slow and saw that video of one smashing a FRS. But besides knocking on the factory straight line performance, I'm looking at potential. And a BRZ with 350whp screams perfection to me.
maybe full blown continents but how about naturally aspirated continents?

Whoever said the auto RX8 have a better P2W ratio doesn't know that the automatic version is around 200hp and weigh around 3000+ lbs.

This is like the two weakest kids in school arm wrestling to settle their differences…

What is the point? Drag racing is not a strong attribute of either of these cars… There are literally Mini Vans out there that are faster in a straight line than both of you… Take them to a road course, auto cross event or on some mountain pass roads and then see which is better…

BTW, Usain Bolt is faster in a 1/4 mile…

Peace!

Any FRS/BRZ should beat an AUTOMATIC RX8 in the 1/4 mile... period. What happened here was probably driver error/skill differences. Also do you have time slips? Or were you doing this on the street...? (facepalm if so)

Even if it was on the street, not like they could break the speed limit :P

Reminds me of driving my Festiva. Launching the car off the limiter... buuum buuum buuum chirp. Wheel burrow sized 155r12 tires, barely chirping off the 1300cc of fury twisting at the helm. These moments are fury are remembered only by the 3" streaks of rubber they left behind. Sigh, good times.

how many miles do you have? it is possible your car is not yet finish break in yet. or maybe you left your park brake on? or you forgot to take out the dead body out of your trunk? or maybe you accidentally put in 87 octane?

The old 325i auto can be pretty slow. The 240hp newer ones are not the quickest either. If you are going to try drag racing with the FRS stock just go to the strip and bracket race.
