I think it depends, as well.

In your situation, I really love WRB for the BRZ... I think red goes more with an FR-S, but that's just my take on it.

If I was faced with your dilemma, I'd happily take WRB along with the $750 savings... But that's because WRB is my preferred color, and the savings would be a bonus.

At the end, choose what your heart desires... WRB is truly an awesome color though, I absolutely admire it on the BRZ...

(If you really and truly want red, then I would try to put further pressure on the dealer that has it to match or beat the $750 savings that the WRB dealer is giving you... Worth a solid try if you haven't already... Don't let them know that you really want the red though, otherwise they may not work with you, lol!)

On a new car, it is very important to me. If I'm paying the extra (since any new car depreciates a good bit the minute I drive it off the lot) for a new car, it is going to have the exact color and options I want. For a used car I'm usually less picky, I'll have a list of acceptable colors and unacceptable colors when shopping.

it is more than that to me, maybe if i had chosen a color, maybe i would have gotten a different car, and had to deal with the CEL issues

to me
1. I didnt know what to expect
2. argento actually is really easy to keep clean
3. it doesnt STAND OUT so it doesnt attract cops as much
4. its a more classy color
5. paint chips dont reveal themselves unless you are a foot away from the car
6. harder to see swirl marks if they ever happen
7. spend longer times between washing(im always busy/tired)
8. since i have to be in a million places at once, the car is nimble enough to get me from point a to point be swiftly, also its a lot of fun in downtown dallas during the middle of the day when the streets are pretty clear
9. after the first drive it blew 5 years of expectations out of the water

it leaves me completely happy with my choice i made almost 5 years ago to save up and get the car first before thousands of other people, and keep that car as long as it doesnt rust out

Both red and light blue are good colors for that car. They were my 1st and 2nd choices when I ordered mine. But ended up with dark blue - it was available for immediate purchase two weeks later.

I would just about do anything to get the color I wanted. The last car I owned was a Miata and I settled for a color I didn't particularly care for. I kept that car for six years and just about every time I ever walked up to that car to get in it I realized my mistake. It's pretty hard to put a price tag on that.

I got the Sterling Silver over black because the black seemed to hide all of the lines, even in the middle of the day. The SS is Classic, cleans well and looks like a Million bucks!! I Love it...

so far the only problem ive had with min after 14k+ miles is the window makes noise every once in a while when i roll it up and down, but no idle issues or CEL, my vin was number 1200 something and i got it early lol...

plus it takes a LOT before argento starts to look dirty, only problem is, little bumps or dents show up REALLY easily at night under street lights, but color looks good at night aswell, i personally think it looks better at night than during the day!

Does look sexier at night either way u got a good color congrats :happy0180:
