We better start planning the next meet now, then! I'll "help" plan, but I have zero experience with autox. Sounds FUN!! Anyone here have any autocross experience or hookups?

Oops,. here is the topic for the autocross discussion:

I think next time the prizes should be placed in order of best to least and the person who scores the highest gets the best and so on and so on

I think this time the game was primarily more for fun. Folks who had passengers fared much better than others, as well as those with access to the internet. I like your idea though, next time's activities would then have to be based around a point system that isn't compromised by advantages and disadvantages, such in our case was the passenger and smart phones.

Yeah, that was exactly the problem. Many of our drivers were solo and couldn't read clues, spot the landmarks and jot the answers while safely driving.

I'll put another one of these together next year that will have better prizes and more challenging tasks. The winners will have to earn their prizes!

next time

next time around we can have specific classes/categories of competition. perhaps things such as timed slalom runs; stopping on a dime (literally); best cosmetic modification(s); raffle; along with other games. we just need prizes to fill such categories.

so many possibilities.

I thought we were grown people? This was based on fun and was planned out well. Stop complaining and start planning. Don't like what went on? Then help plan the next one. Thanks again Darren for setting this up!

@Goodguy889 - Pictures man, pictures. I imagine you have some sweet rolling shots from the drive up. And when are you getting your car back?

My girl won the scavenger hunt; at the very least it was something to get her involved since I was the lucky one driving. Have to say she was a trooper and that was a fine-looking stress ball I won thanks to her hard work

I'm trying. Been busy with work and school. Will get them tonight hopefully. As for the car...... Well they said late next week or the following week. Reading the cel forum it does not look pretty. Had a engine blow last night after the dealership said it was "fixed" with the new ecu and he drove 40 miles then the engine blew. Not good.....
