The problem with Lambo doors isn't that they are bad by themselves, but they are often cheap (poorly executed) and accompanied by rice shit like body kits and non-functional wings.

If you're putting RICE items on your FR-S/BRZ/86 you clearly didn't buy it for the right reasons, that makes you a TOOL

I had lambo doors on my old tC... you dont want them, they are a pain in the ass no matter how much money you spend. You have to line the door up PERFECTLY everytime you shut it. Not worth it imo, but it did get a lot of looks and dropped a lot of jaws everytime I parked lol

To anyone considering the vertical doors to be tacky, you must have never had a designated parking space downtown. If I was the king of the world I would make these mandatory on all cars.

My FR-S with Lambo doors
I know alot of people on here are saying not to get them but it is my car and I like how they look on the FR-S. Just got it out of the shop today.
To each their own. |

SO MUCH HATE.
Seriously, we all love this car, but not everyone has the same goals for what they want in a car. So why bash on somebody else for doing what they want? If you plan on taking it to the track and you want to lay down serious track times, then no, Lambo doors probably aren't for you. If you want to take it to car shows and put a huge subwoofer in the trunk and slam it on air bags and put Lambo doors on it, then go ahead. It's YOUR CAR. And for those who say that it's RICE? I'm so sick of people throwing that term around. As I'm sure you're aware (or maybe not), that means Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancement. Are Lambo doors RACE Inspired? Didn't think so. They are simply a Cosmetic Enhancement. If you're going to insult someone, at least use the correct terminology. In my opinion, they look great on this car. If I could afford them, I'd have them. (And when my car becomes the dedicated show car I have envisioned, it WILL have them.) Yes, they add weight, a not insignificant amount, true. And for narrow parking spaces? Definitely functional. I have no problem with Lambo doors on the right car. But it better be a coupe without window frames. People that put them on the front two doors of a sedan, now that looks silly.

That doesn't look bad.. But do they open like those videos above? I mean what the hell is the point of vertical doors if you have to open it normal first, then push it up? Lol
If it actually opens like the Lamborghini then I think it's not bad. |

Doesn't look good to me, sorry. Doesn't fit the car, and is a tacky mod that should have died out years ago with bright painted interior pieces and underglow.

Lambo doors, maybe if i had done everything else to the car i wanted first and wanted to blow a couple grand. I don't see why anyone would buy them before a nice set of wheels and tires though, sorry FRS-89.
