Oh yeah I mentioned earlier they wanted me to put in a credit app to test drive. They had three in their inventory today. I came back in my scrubs and RS4 and they had no issue with me doing a test drive then lol.

How did you like the manual transmission in the FR-S? Pass / fail?

PASSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Also, they didn't make me to the whole credit check thing. All I had to do was give them my name and DL#, and I am 18 so they would be more weary of me driving than you.

Nice... I've had my share of experiences, so I can understand.

I liked it but in a unbroken in car I didn't get to push it the way I would have on my own. I wouldn't mind still meeting you up on Friday if that's cool.

It's sort of a toss up right now between a BRZ and s2k CR now. Of course the BRZ / FR-S has better comfort and practicality than an s2k cr... Now the hard part comes...

Good to hear... Yep, we can still meet up, no worries. And you can still hang out at the track event, if you're still interested in driving there (1 hour away).

I've never driven an S2k CR (not even an S2k)... I'd say the S2k CR would be more of a 'purer' single-purpose sports car. The BRZ is the latest & greatest thing which has been praised so much, and you can't go wrong in choosing a brand new car @ $25-30k with a manufacturer's warranty (maybe the CR has an extended warranty?)

It all depends on what you'd be most satisfied with, of course.

I'm in the Clear Lake area and have Visconti's STG1 tune on the car if you want to drive one that's broken-in and lightly-modded.

What have you noticed about the tune compared to the stock? Any pros and cons?

Idle doesn't dip to the point where the car shutters. Big win.
Torque dip is less pronounced. Huge win.
Intake growls now. Very cool.
Power. Power everywhere.

The tune is the way that the car should have left the factory. Combined with better engine, gear and differential oil, it's the best thing you can do for your car. I drove around all day today with a stupid grin on my face -- it's that good.
