NZ is actually quite lucky. I believe 100+ cars already in the country as part of first delivery. Toyota NZ has also guaranteed November production and they are getting quite a few orders. Much better than Australia in that respect

Yep, I heard orders even now are for a MARCH 2013 delivery.

Certainly not an 18 month waiting list here even for the equivalent of an Aussie GTS86 (our GT86).

I hope it's not March. I am one of those Nov production orders and dealer said that I could expect it late December, early January.
