When test drives go bad!
Quote from another forum:
"They went down a bank up the port hills on a test drive, sales person was with them at the time, said they tried to take a corner and took it to wide, hit some road grit and lost it, hit a couple of trees on the way down, lucky to be alive" This was in Christchurch, NZ on this road http://binged.it/Ugf2fs - thanks Jeremy for the link And the pictures: Last edited by nzer; 09-17-2012 at 10:05 PM. |

The passenger compartment looks to have held it's shape nicely so does this mean that the 86 get's a five star NZ safety rating at tumbling down hills?

This is prolly what, one of maybe 20 cars that NZ will see?
This happened with a buddy of mine test driving an 04 STi. He was drving like an idiot while his friend was moving the DCCD from front to back constantly. They hit a patch of gravel around a corner two fast, lost it and proceeded to roll the car. People just don't understand that the easiest speeds to roll a car are 25-35mph. |

So who pays if the person doing the test drive causes the accident?
