Of all the "typical sedans/hatchbacks", it's frustrating to know that a Mazda3 is more fun than a Honda Civic to drive.

The Altima is quickly catching up to the Accord, even though the latest model Accord has surprisingly accurate steering for a "beige" sedan, and the automatic transmission will hold its revs just for that extra couple tenths of a second before shifting.

Honda will ALWAYS be better than Hyundai, in so many ways. I do love what Hyundai has offered the past decade, they do a great job (though most of their "big come up" was due to pretty much copying every successful aspect of other car companys).

Honda has always leaned towards reliability and respect to the enviroment rather than just slappin huge turbos and running sophisticated drivetrains on all their vehicles. I can almost say i HATE Honda now, because they literally gave up on anything "cool". I personally think its because within the next few years theyll be releasing some badass stuff. If not, then...well Honda has lost millions of fans.

not to add fuel to the fire, but Hyundai has surpassed all of the Japanese marques in size except for Toyota... that's gotta count for something

they basically capitalized on the economic downturn back in 08 to get where they are now

the newest civic has been getting panned in reviews and there isn't anything exciting in their lineup right now at all

whereas Hyundai keeps improving..

Honda still makes good cars but the Koreans are catching up VERY quickly. Cars that offer features from more expensive cars for less and that 10 year warranty are attractive to buyers.

I don't even slurp Hyundai like that but it is what it is.
