Can this tune adjust the gas pedal voltages? I find the stock settings too jumpy in traffic.. I prefer more movement of the pedal to ease up speed.

The tune smooths out the accleration response. Jeff, mentioned the accelrator will feel "soft" the first 2-3 days as the ECU adjusts to the flash, then adjust over time.

Can you just post the cost of this tune that you paid? PMing for pricing is stupid as hell since one post can answer everyones question.

I think thats more the ECU getting used to the tune than an actual pedal voltage adjustment.. Subaru (Denso) has been known to not use linear voltage maps for their DBW systems causing "jumpy" behavior at lower speeds as the throttle plate isn't directly tied to the angle of the pedal, aka the "good test drive" setting... I may end up buying the AVO controller if I cant get the stock mapping adjusted by a tuner.

How will this reflash be distributed outside of Portland? Is it an off-the-shelf reflash or a custom tune?

They are going to offer it to anyone in the very near future. Gonna need the ECU Tech cable though, which they will sell as well.

Please remember, Perrin created this tune using their own parts. Since we are local in the Portland area, the company has been willing to flash our cars and tweak accordingly to our setups.

Digital give me some feedback. I am wondering what your thoughts are after being flashed.

Touge Ninja, Call Chris and Jeff directly for the cost. It is worth the drive from Seattle to have it done. . . . I was thinking we should encourage Jeff to bring out his BRZ for the drive later this month to talk about the tune.

So my initial impressions from my stop and go traffic drive home is that the throttle response is mellowed out a bit. Just like Jeff said, you can use the whole range of the gas pedal now. Because I just flashed this may still change while the ECU is learning the new settings. Power in the upper end of the RPM range is awesome so far. Redline shifting is wonderful for stock set up. This may be in part to me having a pulley installed today too but I would bet alot of it has to do with the tune. It also seems like the engine is running smoother. Before the tune I have been noticing more shake at idle from the engine and now it's gone. I am wanting more response down in the low end still but I may be suffering here due to some heavy wheels and tires. I may throw the stock wheels back on tomorrow and see what I think.
