3" Single Exit Exhaust

Looking for a 3" single exit(driver side) cat back exhaust, anyone make it and or know of a company doing so? I say 3" because of future turbo build and I prefer the single exit. Thanks!

I looked for weeks, nothing. GReddy RS exhaust should be coming out soon, that's 2.75"

I'm sure as turbo builds get more popular a few will pop up. Whats the hp limit on a 2.75" system? If you know by chance.

Let's just say that I'm using 2.5" right now and it should be fine for 300whp, which I should have by Saturday/Sunday.

I'm no expert but I'd say:

2.5" limit is ~325whp
2.75" limit is ~400whp
3" limit ~500whp

My exhaust is only temporary though, because nothing I like has been released yet. I'll probably swap for a GReddy EVO3 in 6 months or something.

Might as well wait till you have the turbo system first before getting that exhaust. A 3" exhaust on an N/A is going to be obnoxiously loud. Ask me how I know...

Agreed, the turbo isn't there to kill the sound and shove it into the intake system and wastegate.

I remember my buddies S14 240 was obnoxiously loud with a 3" when it was N/A and then he went turbo and it was just purring after that.

I read the stick exhaust isn't a limitation until 300hp. One of the turbo kit builders posted that I believe.

Exactly how I know. Every cheap exhaust for a 240 is 3", and all my friends had them, and none of them could afford a turbo kit or SR20DET swap. So loud and farty! I run a 2.5" mandrel-bent exhaust on my MR2 and it's stupid loud, too, but also because the piping is so short compared to a front-engine car. Can't wait to go turbo and not sound like a ricer anymore!
