I'm hoping to do some winter AutoX with mine - did it twice in the Jetta and it's tons of fun. I think driving this beast in the winter is half the point.

volkswagen = tank like sheet metal + extreme rust resistance, even with open metal

subaru/toyota = made from recycled pizzaboxes with rust applied underneath the paint at factory

i'll be wintering my FRS, but i'm gonna be damn sure i don't do anything of the fearless stuff i did in my VW.

I will be driving mine over the winter and was planning on going with either a 205/55/16 or 195/60/16 Blizzak WS70. If I find that a 15" steelie will clear the brakes, that will change.

I will probably be wintering mine.. I feel like I should just wait to take delivery after winter if it doesn't come in before the snow flys.

Do they do that opticoat stuff up here I see all the US guys talking about?

I read in the detailing section it would be a terrible idea to touchless car was 3 times a week without any opticoat protection.

Ditto, I also drove a Corolla XRS prior to the FR-S and plan on switching my winter tires with steelies over.

I might have to be a little cautious in the beginning for I think it was 1992 when I last drove a RWD car.

The Big thing that concerns me the most if we get 5" or more of snow accumulate. FR-S ground clearance = 4.9". Not that I have much choice, this car is my daily driver now.

I won't be because I don't have an FR-S (yet), but if i did, I would.

Instead I'll just drive my RWD Lexus instead.

I'll be driving mine, but I live in Vancouver so lets be honest, we really don't have a winter. All I will have to deal with is a lot of rain, but you can still have some fun in that.

I'll be driving mine as long as the body is not high centered on snow. LOL I am waiting for Rally armor to get their mud flaps released to use during the winter. If it gets too deep I'll have to drive our Legacy.

Lol it will be all about momentum! Its a good thing they have nice skidplate under the oil pan to aid in winter time fun..

Just waiting for winter so we can head out to the track for winter lapping.

I plan to drive mine in the snow. Not sure if I should buy snows or try out the stock all seasons.
