That's exactly it! The point of this thread is that the OP is pissed the cars are flying off the lot... that the non-enthusiasts can own one.

The fr–s has a torque converter standard automatic. Provide me an example of a sportscar/supercar with a traditional automatic that is faster than it's manual counterpart or is competitive with modern cars on a road course in its class.

You did something many (as Shizuma would say) "chauvinistic jackass" car guys do-- you stated your opinion as though it were fact in a very ignorant and crass way. That is both socially and (potentially) morally reprehensible.
