i went and got my news first hand yesterday after work from the stock controller of the Perron Group also known as Toyota WA in Adelaide Terrace.

i gave them my production number and they were able to tell me almost everything apart form that i will be getting my 86 this year.

Pauline is gold and you cant crack the shits at her, she doesnt delegate stock and the Perron group control the number for WA. if you want to bitch write Stan Perron a letter or go see him in his east perth office and vent to him. He is the sole reason why WA buyers are in the dark.

the controller told me stupid numbers like 15 a month at best for WA so there is no wonder why they are pushing out again as they cant negotiate enough production numbers.

thats said it was nice to meet so many friends here to share this experience and i must bid farewell as my perusing the forum now is futile due to non-ownership. i took my first 370z roadster test drive at lunch today and maybe looking at signing on the dotted line by the weekend.

toyota could not have asked for a more dedicated loyal die hard bunch of members like you guys, its a shame for you all that they couldnt return such sentiments. especially for WA.

enjoy your rides and will think of you guys when and if i see an 86 on the roads. 2013 is another year...who knows?????

Ah that sucks mate! I ordered a GTS on the 7th of June, was told Sept delivery, then Oct delivery a month later, then Nov build a few weeks ago. Eventually got fed up and cancelled my order... Still waiting on getting my deposit back.

I didn't completely back out though. In the end I bought a BRZ which is currently on a boat! I sure am glad I decided to bail for Subaru now, at least they can meet their promises.

Makes sense when you think about it. The DSM said 250 a month (1500 total) for Australia for 2012. "IF" WA gets 10% (based on 10% population) that would be 25 a month - but given how badly the launch was handled by TMCWA its quite likely that a few more were sent to the East Coast initially. Plus a good 300 of those were demos.

Sadly next year gets worse. The estimate in the DSM was 1800 FOR THE YEAR. If WA gets 10%, thats 180 for the whole year - only 15 a month. And in 2014 - only 1200 so maybe 10 a month for WA...

I've been told mine might be stretching out (I'm in Victoria) to Jan/Feb 2013. More time to put money away for a deposit. Or maybe to buy a bunch of stuff in Japan in May...

This doesn't make sense at all.
This is the worrying part.

I'm actually wondering how many (if any) people in WA have had a GTS maunal (non aero, non demo) delivered?

I ordered MT GTS from Grand Clarkson. Have been told 12 in line but still Feb/March delivery. Haven't had the call yet but I'm half expectin it. I know they have had at least 1 GTS as went to look at the aero kit on it. Anyone else here ordered from Clarkson???

Please show me one allocated gts manual on car sales ?

Subaru are quoting realistic times for the BRZ on the order page sorted by color trans etc etc

Sorry to hear this fellow Perthians, even though I've been on about the spare wheel issue, I genuinely wished that the deletion would at least in some way speed up production.

Hopefully, people will see that all TMCA can do is make half-baked excuses and spat the dummy again.

They obviously have zero care factor towards loyal 86 (and Toyota) fans!

Just cancel your order guys it's not worth worrying over and save your money for something better the next time around!
