Just got a call from Galleria Toyota.... My car being built this month has been pushed back to an unknown date next year...

I am not happy at all and cancelled my order but i have already waited so long im just going to accept it and keep waiting.....

Pauline my sales chick said they got word Monday evening.....

I spat the dummy obviously asking how can they allocate then say global demand has caused it but whats the point... Its falling on deaf ears really....

I got a good deal on my Aero.... I leave for Japan in November so now i have $40grand for parts which does make me happy.....

I truly hope u guys dont receive the same call.... Its so f*kn poor IMO....

I got this call 2 weeks ago... And I was in the first 10 people to order at my dealer...

I am a very patient man. I know mine will be lucky to be here mid next year when originally told January. More time to save and/or buy goodies for when it arrives :)

Unfortunately Toyota Japan have Aussie customers over a barrel. They will sell any and every unit they ship here and most people are prepared to wait, just as you are, despite the inconvenience.

I can't believe Toyota Australia is happy with their allocation. They are in business to make money and they will know full well that they would make more money if they had lead times on par with US let alone stock in dealerships.

Sorry to hear. What date did you order? Manual I'm guessing.

It's a double lottery it seems, as we not only have the long wait for the GTS manuals, it seems how many your dealer sold before yours comes into play :-(

Ours was ordered June 18th and I don't think we will see it this year

The more people that get impatient and pull their order, the sooner we all get ours.

Have so far bought a Beatsonic Shark Fin Antenna, Grimspeed Oil Cap (122 of 140) and Gimmick Hood Struts. Will probably buy my wheel choice (Wedssport TC105N 17x8) soon also :S

I ordered mine from Big Rock and from what I've been told, they're still yet to get a single GTS but from what I was told at New Town, they've already delivered about 20...
This doesn't make sense at all.
