Innocent because speed limits are BS on a highway and its sickening how most cops are hiding out trying to catch speeders instead of hanging out in bad neighborhoods arresting criminals.

Cops are nothing but revenue collectors for the state. Peoples safety is further down the list of priorities and usually the responsibility of the individual anyway.

Cops = worthless

Got a tint ticket in my whiteout on my way to LA. But on another note I got a ticket in my aunts car for not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign. What is the best way to go about getting the fine lowered (haven't received anything in the mail yet btw). Should I just show up to court and request it?

Cities have to make their money somewhere. What do you think pays the cops dealing with public safety? Not to mention the traffic patrol is out looking for reckless drivers/DUIs/etc and a routine stop can lead to warrant arrests. If it was a state trooper they are there to write traffic tickets, it goes to highway repair usually. We pay to play. Just how it goes.

didnt they remove the no speed limit thing in Montana because of loss of revenue?

edit: it could have to do with the federal speed limit law as well.... if they dont abide then they get no federal highway funds. so one way or another its all about money ... NOT saftey

you are far from innocent.

Vegas cops don't even give me a second look, though I keep it at the speed limit.

Pulled over for taking a corner too quickly (normal speed), then the officer proceeded to ask does it have a turbo? Is it fun? I really think he just wanted to have a lookie. Just as well, it's a small town where I'm from, and I think I have the only one here. (Not Edmonton, a bit out)

there was an accident on the road 2 days ago and there was a lady cop next to one of the accidented cars. i drove by and had to stop because of the traffic up front. she looked at me and gave me a smile and a few nods,i thought it was because she found me hot,but then i came to my senses because i'm not even close to being hot and realised she found my car nice

I haven't gotten any attention from cops in my FRS yet, but I got pulled over on my motorcycle once, and found out that (in Arizona) going more than 20 over the limit is criminal speeding, and you get to go to jail. Doing 106 in a 65 zone, the state trooper let us (me and a buddy) off with 80 in a 65 because we're both military. Scary moment though, so I keep my lead foot to a minimum in the FRS.

Nope, not yet. I like to enjoy the curves.... and little speed. I try to go just under the fastest yahoo out there on the major highways, never lead the pack. Let's be honest, this car can get to 80 in heartbeat, that is over limit almost everywhere. Very seldom do cops pull u over for going 5-10mph over limit. So, I stay in that range. Then, when I am out on country road...I safely drive back the way I went, to be my own spotter basically.
Now, time to go knock on wood a few dozen times...I mean spitting on sidewalk is still against law too.. I hate the high and mighty mouthpiece people on here...if all these people really did not speed, that would be the rule on the highway vs the you better be doing 80 in rush hour or your @SS is getting run over.

No tickets yet either, passed a few cops in Tennessee this past weekend. Did the tail of the dragon with friends, an s2000, and sti, car handled great, held it's own. Got an AT love using the paddles though I played little with the stick. Don't miss manual at all.
