Hahaha, theres no need to get upset kiddo. I'm just poking some fun. Is this your first time on the internet or something?

I suppose you've got some evidence that it won't be a waste, right?! I'd love to see your "evidence" of the reliability of forcing that much more power through components that aren't rated for it

Go ahead, ill wait

just because a car isnt rated at it, doesnt mean it cant do it reliably, you can take a 20 year old 2jz motor and pump 500whp out of it saftley

Yep. Internet is serious business, haven't you heard.

I'm guessing you've never been in manufacturing before to know that every component is designed with a certain factor of safety in mind. In simple terms, things are over designed so they don't operate on their design limits for their entire life span.

My evidence would be the numerous threads going on currently of these cars that are boosted and haven't failed. It's not like they did one dyno pull and then stopped development. They have been tracking them, beating on them, dynoing them, and they have yet to fail. Will this kit last for 100k miles? Maybe not, but the point is you have no evidence to support failure yet, as they are still running.

What do you gain by trying to convince people not to turbo their car? Let them try it and if the engine blows up that's their problem. We're all adults here and can make our own decisions. If you have some reason to believe the engine won't hold up to this power, let's hear it, otherwise you're just getting in the way of constructive conversation.

Haha looks like good conversation to me.

If I thought this motor was junk I would have stopped a long time ago - around 300whp

The guys at p&l turned up the boost last week and tracked the car lol still running.

So only time will tell, grab a seat and enjoy the show !

BOOM BOOM POW! Someone has got to break the limits on this car. We have found out how much the manual clutch can hold. Now just got to wait for an auto to go. Then engine. Then intake manifolds from the floor pans. Then NOS. Or is it the other way around?

Does he drive it hard, like me? sideways everywhere I go, bouncing the limiter?
:P

I just wanna see this thing take a beating and survive. I'm pretty hard on my personal cars. If Don is as well, then that is a true testament to this engine's strength!
