Ummm a SR20 isn't a turbo....

I am guessing you are talking about a T25 or T28?

This was in reference to the Disco potato. It was originally designed with the SR20 in mind, and the SR was the test mule for this turbo during development.

Looked for specifics.
320whp on the disco. Pumpgas, sounds like the ticket.
This is with injectors, and 3bar?
What Psi?
Thanks.

If you do forced induction then you need a 3 bar map sensor , you'll need 500cc injectors

We were having issues with the boost controller on the dyno so we don't have a smooth graph to post. I think we fixed that so Don just needs to find time and put it back up on the dyno.

Power is 440whp - 340wtq.

I think anymore power with this setup / configuration would really be pushing things. If over the next few weeks things go well I don't see why a customer couldn't take deliver of a car at this power level.

Right now my next 2 important things I'm doing is Fuel System and speed density stuff.

Currently testing out a bunch of different injectors as well as fuel pumps. One of them is a drop-in pump! No cutting up the factory basket.

It's a nice project, but who on earth do you think is going to waste their brand new 25k car by throwing 440hp and 340tq at it? It's a nice project and all but lets not be absurd. A few weeks...

And what evidence do you have that it would 'waste' their car?

I'd be willing to try it out. No one needs to run full boost throughout the day but it would be nice on track days

Why would it be a waste? If you've got the money for a turbo kit, you best have an "oh shit" fund for a new motor and anything else that breaks.

There are guys that bring their brand new $200k+ supercars to get turbocharged.

That's the point, after all that, you would've been better off spending that money on a better car!

Go for your lives though, shit, I'm excited to see the first blown up FA20.
